Christmas in Callao

This year's theme for Christmas in Callao is "Hometown Christmas".  We hope this theme brings out your favorite cherished Christmas memories and what comes to your mind when you think of a Hometown Christmas.  We can't wait to see what you come up with!

Events for the day include:

• 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. - Christmas Bazaar - Callao Firehouse - Shop for unique gifts from local crafters and vendors for that special holiday gift.
• 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. - Car, Truck, & Tractor Display - Displays of cars, trucks, & tractors including antique, classic, and current.
• 2 p.m. - 3 p.m. - Santa & His Workshop - Callao Firehouse - Visit with Santa at his workshop.
• 4 p.m. - Christmas Parade - Northumberland Hwy/Route 360 - You never know what you will see in a Callao Christmas Parade but it's always fun & will certainly get you in the spirit & put a smile on your face.  Parade route starts near the stop light & travels through Callao towards Callao Moose Lodge.
• 6 p.m. - Live Nativity, Crab Pot Christmas Tree Lighting, & Carol Singing - Watch the reenactment of the Nativity with live animals & music; enjoy the lighting of our famous Christmas Tree made from crab pots; & take part in carol singing near the tree.  Afterwards enjoy some hot chocolate & cookies.
